Planner’s Comments

I quickly realised that the planning of this event had two major hurdles, first of all a map that was frankly in dire need of a major overhaul, plus the date - knowing of course that the vegetation would cause major navigational constraints. I spent several months, attempting to rectify the initial problem and latterly used Tim's experience and guidance to help me tackle the courses.

My overall objective was to provide a test, that was both fair and thought provoking, hopefully in the majority of cases, the verdict was a positive one.

Thanks to David W for his organisational endeavour and of course my gratitude to the club members who were able to make it on Father's Day and enable it all to go very well.

Finally, Mr Denton, you were calmness itself and provided me with all of the support I could reasonably expect. My thanks to you indeed!!
